I have reluctantly bought a new laptop. My present one has driven me mad, it's a small notebook that takes its time logging on and connecting. The other night I tried from 8.00 until 11.oo when I eventually got on. Bt Fon kept taking over my signal. I refreshed and relogged on so many times it nearly went out the window. Even when I'm connected it freezes, I refresh, log on, close down, swear and not quite throw it up the wall. but it has to go! I have bought a Dell 430 thingy, so whether I can get back on AB in the future is in the hands of those that may help me !! I will get it in about 3 days so I may disappear for a while.

It keeps taking over from my own vconnection, I have a router that connects to my main pc. When I try to connect BTfon jumped in and took over, their page took over instead of google, so I could not connect to anything. Sometimes from switching on to getting connected can be as long as 5 minutes, very frustrating.
Dell laptops are quite good so you shouldn't have any problems with it when it arrives. Their customer service is also good, as is their website for updates and drivers.
