What Can I Do Now?
37 Answers
My daughter who I spent a few hours with on Monday, phoned me this morning to say she has shown positive on a lateral flow today, she is going for a PCR test this afternoon.
I know I should test myself, so I asked a neighbour who was going shopping today if he could pick a test up for me at the chemist but he came back empty handed as there are none.
I've tried to book a test online but it said none available in England!
No idea how my daughter booked hers unless she said she is a front line worker.
What can I do?

I tried to order lateral flow test on line yesterday but told none available this was at 11am. Tried again this morning at 7.30 and the order went through. Evidently they have only so many they can send out each day . Just hope that the test arrives in next couple of days, chemists are saying they are not getting deliveries
No GP surgeries in Bristol stock them, not sure about other areas although a pharmacy on the same site might, but most appear to have run out as well now.
Our local authority deliver stock to community centres and libraries. Perhaps ring around, even if out of stock they may know who has some left
You might find somewhere on here

I live in Manchester and the nearest place I can get tested is Deeside!
Can't phone my GP as they close on Wednesday afternoons.
I saw my youngest daughter on Saturday and she had just started with a cold, so the sore throat I have today could be from her, or it could be Covid off my daughter I saw on Monday.
Youngest had a PCR and that was negative.
As I am supposed to be going to her for Christmas, I really need to know before then otherwise I'll be spending it on my own.
I'll look at local authority websites and will try again early tomorrow morning.
Thanks for the link chelle, I'll take a look.
