A lot of women can easily look the part, but actually being one is different. This is especially true watching girls as young as 10 barrell racing here in the western U.S. rodeos... Same goes for men looking like cowboys as depicted in movie 'Urban Cowboy'. The saying here for such a one is "All hat and no cattle"...

There you go, I always thought it was because girls used to put their leg over the chain to get on to a bicycle, and the men used to **** their leg over the saddle. Maybe the lasses do the same thing at the rodeo!
