Apart from YX32.. can you suggest any legal combinations that would look eyecatching in a driving mirror?

I don't know about in the mirror, but I once followed OHP 150F, carefully divided with chrome bolts into OH-P15-OF.

On a similar vein, have you noticed how car adverts use reg. plates that will be readable in mirror image, although not necessarily making any sense. For axample, TXO 811. This means that the advert films can be left-right reversed to simulate either left or right hand drive cars for the various countries where the ads are shown

not in a mirror, but someone living near me has one of those dinky "smart" cars, re is LI KKLE. and a bloke i worked with had UP 41 T {not spaced like that]
