i'm diabetic too (woohoo! what a fun club to be in!) and my sugars are a bit up and down, even though i try really hard to keep them low, and prevention is obviously better than a cure when it comes to anything. i don't think it's reversible but you can stop it getting worse once it's started, just because it's happened a bit doesn't mean it's a hopeless situation. at least that's what i've been told about my eye's as i'm showing early signs of diabetic retinopathy (joy of joys!). xx
