I don't think he'll ever realise, Starman. Much too far up his own bottom to ever be one of life's great thinkers. That was so funny. I couldn't stop laughing. Oh, how the mighty fall - especially when it's only themselves that put them on their pedestals.
Thank you for contacting China. (There are times when I really wish she'd change her name. Contacting China? Ling ling. ling ling. Arro, is enywon lere).
I'm going to bed with Sam Harris now - and even though I'll be gentle with him and he won't feel a thing, I know I'll enjoy it! ;o)
I've had a message from another ABer called Bathsheba who's been quite good friends with Theland for a while but he's apparently not responding to her messages; (not sure if they're texts or emails) and she's worried about him as the last time she was in touch he wasn't happy. Have any of you heard from him so that I can put her mind at rest?
Or better still, Theland, if you're keeping track, you do it. She's your friend.
I've heard nothing from him, China. What about you, Luna? I'll drop him an email to see if I can get any response.
Cough, cough ...... do you really expect me to believe you never keep anyone awake all night? Well, all I can say is if that's true, shame on you. Must try harder!
Weeeelllll ........... depending on the rhythm and the tempo, a little practice never goes amiss, I suppose. Oh, ok, yes. Why not? After all, as I always say, busy hands are, indeed, happy hands. ;o)
Well done Luna. My computer with Theland's address on is disconnected at the moment. I was going to ask my husband to connect it this morning so that I could email him - but your text worked, so no need. He's arrived for his birthday party. Hope he'll pop in here and tell us what's going on.
Snow, snow, snow!! Ooo .... I feel a song coming on!
So wassup? All snowed in, are you?
Your question for today. Why does this country come practically to a standstill as soon as we get a bit of snow? I mean, it's hardly good skiing weather, is it? Trains not running, airports closed, schools and factories closed. Odd that places like Canada manage - but perhaps that's because they're used to it.
Are you all at work? My husband says London is like a ghost town.
I have friends living way up in northern Canada where they have 'real' snow with temperatures reaching minus 30 or even minus 40 at times. The funny thing is, when they were staying with us here one November, when the temperature was above freezing, they were absolutely frozen. They just couldn't get warm, and I had to make them hot water bottles to take to bed! They said they'd never felt so cold in their life! I think it's because England is so damp.
