Just taken Tigger to the vets and it looks like she has something stuck down her throat from last week. She is going to be anesthetised so that the vet can check down the back of her throat so I've had to leave her there overnight.

I shed a tear as I left her :-(

I know I'll see her tomorrow evening but I miss her so much. Is it normal to feel so much so much emotion over a pet thats just away for one night?

Awww, tiggy. You poor thing. x
Rushing off out now, but in a word

'Yes'

She'll be fine

xx
chin up tiggs...she'll be back with ya in no time and as fit as a fiddle! :)
When she comes home, give her a tickle under the chin for her ABer friends
Of course, it is totally normal to be worried and concerned about your wee rascal - it just proves how much you love your cats! My little 'un (the cheeky one) went missing last week - for a couple of hours - I was in a dreadful state - turned out she got a bit scared by a dog down the road and couldn't work out how to get past that particular garden.... Also it turns out that this particular dog (a little female staffie) was actually more petrified of her (the cat) than the other way around !

She is a mummys girl and never leaves my side when I'm at home. Is she gonna hate me for leaving her? Lol
probably...... for about 5 minutes until you feed her, then she'll love you again (I find gentle stroking behind a cats ear help kick start the purring process and quickens the forgivness)

Thank you everyone for cheering me up :-) xxx

Its going to be really odd not having her snuggle up to me when I go to bed tonight.
i wish i had anesthetic. Im in such pain. The electric has gone again and i just pooed in my pants
Awww tigger , ((( big hugs ))) , isn't it awful when you have to leave them , you know she's in safe hands but it doesn't really help does it , you still worry .Then you come home and notice so loudly that there's that emptiness where your precious Tigger should be , next to you.
She will be back bouncing around and mieowing for her food before you know it honey :-) xxxxxxx
tiggerblue, little tiger will be fine, i know how you feel. today when i back home, my little pup followed me everwhere, but im thinking i will leave her soon, cant control my tears either.
tiggerblue, it will be hard to be away from her for the night, but the vet knows best, and sure you would rather he kept her safe even it means losing her for one night...

just think how pleased she will be to see you tomorrow:)
