Gig Of The Week
This is for the week just gone, obviously.
On Wednesday, we went to see Annaca and Z-Star at The Old Market (I'd like to say "here in Brighton" but, by the strict rules of "how far along the Western Road?" I suppose it's technically in Hove, actually). Okay, that's it ... I've admitted going in to Hove. I suddenly feel thirty years older!
Anyway, Annaca did a great opening set, and Z-Star are just fantastic.
But then, of course, it was Pride weekend, and a bit of a mixed music fest. Preston Park was a blast.
Then a few of us went to the all night lez party at the Concorde (all night meaning it finished at 8.00am on Sunday morning). Actually, thinking about it, that was DJs, so it doesn't really count as a gig.
So, then we have ...
DTCwordfan who, on Saturday night, went to an open air jazz gig, overlooking the River Fal. That sounds quite heavenly. Open air jazz is always a good thing, and overlooking the river has to be a plus. Jazz, wine, the evening sunshine, a nice view.
I think it's just too hard to choose this week.
