Either spelling should be acceptable
ends in e, but often misspelt with an i at the end

I put an 'I' on the end, because I was under the impression that 'E' was singular and 'I' was plural, or should that be the other way round? (I was thinking of spaghetti, etc, ending in an 'I'.)
It is Linguine, the italian plural of the singular linguina (from the Latin lingua for tongue). I have Italian and Latin O levels and I am married to an Italian. (so there!)
