Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I would tend to agree with you. Not up to Saturday standard. When will get an alphabetical jigsaw again, it seems ages since the last one.

Araucaria alphabetical jigsaw crossword = utter bliss

I usually do the FT but today it is Cinephile =Araucaria that I don't like him-takes too many liberties.I think he is a marmite character you like him or you don't . So did this instead. Haven't solved 9a and can't see the wordplay for 7d , 23a/8d & 24a -otherwise ok .

7D Thai raid...vocal = sounds like.
23A Bananas are measured in hands, thus a hand =some bananas and drink = sup. Hands up! is an order.
24/8 Cat = Gus and arcane = secret, giving sugar cane.

Oh...Gus is the theatre cat in T S Eliot's poem.

Thanks -have to say that while 24,8 is quite easy when you have enough checking letters, to know gus is a TS Eliot cat is hard.
