I can't really understand the wordplay in these clues / answers! 8 down Action to capture southern city once in ruins (9) DESTROYED. 9 across An attempt by rodent to bite something like feline cat (6,3) ANGORA CAT. 24 across Party girl meets boring snooker player (6) DEADLY. 11 across It's said wool supplier works with wool items (5) UNITS.
