It takes an awful lot of ill-will to interpret the help given regularly here by someone like kayakamina as boastful etc. Could it be that quite different feelings (possibly even ones you are not aware of) motivate your own vicious attacks? We've seen enough of this kind of bickering on both forums recently.
I seriously begin to wonder how sick some of these contributors are.
Typical, too, that our troll bows out quickly to avoid any real confrontation, not without trying to ruin the puzzle for everybody himself, of course. I don't belong to any "fan club" here: I'd just like to get on with the fun & not have it ruined by such spiritually impoverished individuals.
I've been a bit busy today and only just printed off my email and popped on to thank DJA.
May as well chuck it in the bin now the whole thing has practically been given away and ruined it for everyone .
As for your unkind remarks about Kayakamina ,Bootlebarth ....He's a lovely kind gentleman and you should be ashamed of yourself .
To get away from the flames, does anybody know whether the printed version is any blancher than the carte grise which appeared online? I can't believe that the intention was really for solvers to fill in only two bars.
We do sympathise with your predicament Steve and wish you well for the future - K does mean well on these threads and we try to overlook things like that for the sake of harmony - no cross words only crosswords here please !
It is always the little ones.Would someone kindly help and furnish me with the first and third letters of the following.Roman sea-horse(4) ?A?E.Thankyou in advance
Only two more letters to fill in - from the very left, sixth row down. I believe that the clue is: Vinegar's that's turned - a deception
and I have EL?E?L
Kayakamina remains a star in my book although I suspect we will be supporting different teams in the Lord's test.
K, this may be a good moment to say thank you once again for all the help and encouragement you have given me over many years. As has been said, nobody needs to come on here and those who choose to do so must know - and seek - the level of help they will find. Aq.
Thanks Kayakamina - I should have had my French grammar hat on for the faulty corresponding answer. To my ear, the Belgian accent here in glorious Lubumbashi is probably like a Yorkshire dialect to a Parisian. It's la saison seche - beaucoup de poussiere but good for this afternoon's golf :)
I hope it's not too late to welcome Kayakamina back on the forum after that ridiculous attack. I, too, have profited endlessly from your readily-given answers. "Illegitimis non carborundum", if you know what I mean (I suspect you do).........................
