I asked some of these during the week but I need the weekend expert crowd to finish me off! Just a few left of this Cars Quiz. All the answers are the names of Models of cars, not makes; so for instance Fiesta is OK but not Ford.
1. Put energy into a spring (4).
2. Scarlet angel flying in white (11).
3. Singer bee (6).
4. Queen's father's sister's grand-niece (8).
5. From a tree, bound in book and gilded on the cover (4).

OK Tony - I wasn't sure if it was a model or a make but it looks like a model of a GM vehicle

I think Humvee was Military and Hummer was the Civvy version

Austin PRINCESS is confirmation of one I had earlier.
HUMMER works well and is a model of car as well as a truck and fits in with the rules of the quiz (no nicknames).
INTERCEPTOR is another intelectual giant leap by emeritus.
No.1, I want to keep putting an "E" into SPA or HOP but can't make a car model. Keep suggesting please, we'll get there.
