I've finished this one, but there are some (infuriating!!) wordplays I cannot yet get, so any help appreciated!
30A. Determine in advance traditional advice for beer in disputed Middle-Eastern area, -R-D-S-I-E. Must be PREDESTINE, and I am OK with taking ALE out of PALESTINE, but how is REDE traditional advice?
41A. Bivalve filled with a mostly very dry seafood, -A-A-A-I. Presume CALAMARI (=seafood() but can't see the rest of the clue.
28D. Building near home is not acceptable to family, O-T-O-S-. I have OUTHOUSE which is building near home, and OUT is unacceptable, but struggling to link HOUSE with family?
31D, Plant pots etc that won't be wanted on computer, S-Y-A-E. I have SPYWARE, but don't see how plant pots etc fits.
My boots are cleaned and laced up ready to administer the self-kicking bit!
