Ev Sunday Telegraph Enimagtic Variations 1087 -- Ambiguities By Piccadilly
26 Answers
Actually the first time I've seen a Piccadilly crossword, but I see that they're a prolific setter. This was also the first un-numbered EV I've seen, which probably shows how little time I've been solving them more than anything else. Anyway, a very pleasing finish and while the clues didn't seem that hard they were certainly fair and most had great surface reading. Thanks Piccadilly!

Yes Slaney I was the lucky winner. Unbelievably it was my first ever entry. I'll still do the EV every week but I don't expect my good fortune to continue. Look forward to the fountain pen- does anyone know how long it takes to arrive? Also is it a specific brand?

Congratulations djawhufc,
There is a picture of it under the GK crossword in the hard copy 4 page pullout. They used to arrive a few days before the solution was published, with a letter informing you your name would appear with the solution. The brand used to be Inoxcrom. The Telegraph distinctive T appears on the tip of the nib cover. As the brand suggest they used to be made of Stainless Steel, but are now black plastic. The nib will be excellent and write well.
