It's a nice sunny day and I've been for a liquid lunch so a bit slow to get the crosswords done.

I am struggling with 31ac "Gantlets else rattled for such a bird? (12)" Should be anagram of 'Gantlets else' but I can't find it. I have TA-S-L--N-LE.

Smashing answer - but isn't it generally hyphenated and not one word?
I agree - but many crosswords seem to ignore them, dispense with hyphens!
