Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

18 across: Possible west-coast crook dropping in, causing tears (8) L?L?I?A?
The next two I'm pretty sure I've got the correct answers but would love to know how thw wordplay works -
21 across: One intended to keep private safe? I've got TIN HAT
20 down: A sign that the letter below should be read in a nosey way? I've got TILDE

20d a tilde ~ is used over an N in Spanish to give it a nasal sound

20 A Tilde, accent on some words, indicates that you've to pronounce the word in a nasal('nosey') way.

Just had to thank you for helping me finish above xword.. was about to post for help with last 2 clues & your post came up..your posting name gave me answer to "Very good Australian criminal" & subsequently "tough guy possibly viewed as female?" with its sexist answer ;-)
