Tuesday. Blowing an ooligan this morning. Tiggy was out for his supper, the trimmings off a sirloin steak, a quick drink then went back to bed. Wise lad!

Not a great deal to do today, so I shall finish updating Vera's poota and I can use it more.

Have a happy day everyone.

Question Author
Yup. That'll fit mate. :o}
All good here thanks Boaty, 'Though I doubt I'll be in the kitchen soon now ;-(.

Nah, it can wait until after the arvo shift, won't take long to prep or cook.

Bit of a fan of Maggie Riley are ya?
Question Author
As you say she has a lovely voice. Good looking. Yup I'm a fan. I've posted the video on cupes' thread.
I bought the Mike Oldfield album on "big black disc" many many moons ago. Once I heard Maggie Riley sing I was smitten.

Quite like the Corrs as well.

What is it with Irish ladies, can they all sing like that? ;-), and look gorgeous?
Question Author
The Corrs are another of my favourites too oz, wee Caroline on the drums is amazing, on one programme she did a drum duet with Mick Fleetwood. Fantastic!
Oh,,hang on a minute,,,I have watched Mrs Browns Boys ;-)

Magic. some gorgeous girls on there too. His daughter also has a wonderful singing voice.
Fleetwood Mac were another great group, saw them in concert when I was sixteen, will never forget it.
But the most impressive concert I have attended would have to be Brian Ferrys Roxy Music. Absolute style the whole way through.
Question Author
I saw The Seekers live several times. Judith Durham, another unique voice.
That lady could sing Boaty.

Another one that comes to mind is Dire Straits. Seen them in concert three times over the years and the last was awesome because one of one of my work mates at the time. His wife had grown up as a neighbour of Mark Knoppfler (think that is how it you spell it) and had been childhood sweethearts so we were given front row private box tickets and got to meet the band afterwards. Two days later we were invited to a bbq at their place and the band was there. Bit gobsmacked I was.
Question Author
Wow oz! wonderful. I'm jealous! :o} Sultans of Swing, Brilliant guitar work.
Funnily enough my work mate and his wife sat back stage during the concert and chatted with the roadies, they reckoned they were sick of seeing it. I would quite happily of sat through all of the shows, and then some.
Mark (I'm not going to try and spell his name again) wrote the sound track to a movie called "Going Home" (I think, starring Dustin Hoffman), one of my favourite bits of music, all instrumental.
Question Author
Mark Knopfler made that guitar sing on that one.
That is something he could do with style Boaty.
Must get ready to meet my little darlings soon.
Have a great day, thanks for the chat, take care old mate.
