It must be the heat: I am absolutely stumped. I can't find a link between 37A and 22D for example so I must have some incorrect letters, and some of the other unclued lights are a complete mystery. Can anyone offer some helpful HINTS, please?

37 A is a normal clue - have you given the wrong number? 22 D is likely to be known to you, for what he does.

The horrendous weather in the South East gave me connection
problems too Daniel.

Oddly enough 22d was the one I had heard of, being a Speccie
solver for many years.
I think Bibble is a fairly recent convert to Speccie & good to have
him & his contribution.

I'm not that recent k - I've just checked the shortcut that I have to the website (for free download of the puzzles) and that is more than 2 years old.
