13 down: Trees between university and loch fall every now and then (6) ?ET?LA. Also the 'expression' to write under the grid, is it just a single letter? (if it isn't I'm stumped!)

According to Wikipedia the highlighted item covers a range. The expression could be a single letter, but I suspect it is more likely to be a mix of two expressions. A bit ambiguous I believe.

Any help with parsing 29D please?

The expression is surely a combination of 30a and 8d, but which one comes first ?

With reference to the colour wheel (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RYB_color_model#/media/File:Color_star-en_(tertiary_names).svg), in this puzzle the secondary and tertiary colours are expressed as the sum of their adjacent colours moving in a clockwise direction. Therefore V = R + (R+Y)
