Too slow. I didn't solve it- i just found it was listed as a clue that's been used before

That's an interesting link, FF. I haven't seen that before. So, you type in the clue and it gives you an answer. Don't want to try it at the moment. I' m using my tablet, which is very slow)

FF, I have just realised that my last post seems rather accusative. It isn't and it should read, 'So one types in the clue and it gives one an answer?'

I'm going to try it now as I have reclaimed the PC from Mr T.

Had a couple of goes and typing in a clue just gives me no result.

Sorry tilly- I went off doing something else. Yes, I ave seen DANWORD before but I get to it usually when in desperation I just google the clue + "crossword clue"

Sites such as that one give answers to certain clues if they've been picked up before - what they don't do is give a parse.
