I hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday. Mine was pretty good
Off for a walk in the woods soon but first a couple of queries.
" Crookedly endorse last thirteen letters?" It is only four letters and I have ?b?t so I guess the answer is abet. But I don't get the last thirteen letters part.
The other is " fitting finale for player entering centre court" . Wither letters I have I think the answer is " correct" and the c and ct help in this. But I am not filled with confidence. I'd really be glad of help.

Sorry not to reply sooner. the walk started more quickly than I expected. His Nibs was even more irritated than SWMBO! Said I preferred my crossie to him... So I thought I'd better make a move. It was, in fact, a great walk. We had a dog with us which added to the fun. The weather was spot on. Cold but crisp. Anyway, back to the crossword.
I feel quite embarrassed not seeing the alphabet one. The other was harder but I still should have got it. Ah well, perhaps 2018 will see improvements.
