Yes, all very neat and tidy, and I am a fan of short preambles like this one. It helped that I'm very familiar with the theme. Favourite clue was 5d, very clever!

Indeed this was a solid and straightforward puzzle with a satisfyingly unambiguous ending. There really was an "Aha!" from me when the penny dropped. And I agree that 5 down is an excellent clue.

May I recommend this week's IQ? It's an Ifor and it's absolutely first class. I feel that Ifor sometimes tries a bit too hard to be difficult but this one really hit the spot for me.

Can only agree with everyone. Brought back memories of the theme being used about 15 years ago, but that puzzle was much harder. Thanks Aedites.

I was thrown for a while, but once I had got the message the end came in moments. A potential ambiguity, but nothing too serious. Now back to scrubbing up the floor!
