Gods kill me now I hate both, although I did have Brussel sprouts pan fried with onion, garlic and bacon then tossed in cream that my brother cooked one year and they were fabulous.
They might be a bit overpowering and we might not be able to taste the turkey. I wouldn't want a Marmite tasting Christmas dinner even though I love Marmite.
Sprouts are a pain. You have to remove the outer leaves because of the soil and then cut a cross in the bottom, then steam them so they are just cooked, not hard and not soggy. (That is, grammatically, very poor but you know what I mean.)
