A perfectly fine introductory Listener if a little too close to the Spectator genre.

Thank you Nutmeg.

Some of the misprints were rather cleverly disguised, otherwise this proved to be an enjoyable workout on the gentler end of the scale. Bradford, as so often, a help in final stages. Thanks, Nutmeg.
Fun, but not quite challenging enough to be really enjoyable.
A neat enjoyable puzzle.

Thanks, Nutmeg.
As above. Gentle, but not so straightforward as some. I confess to a chuckle at 5 and 11
Delicious clues, thanks Nutmeg. I really enjoyed this one.

Not that it makes me want to buy the Spectator any time soon ;-)
I liked it very much too, and found myself grinning at a number of the clues and misprints. Thanks Nutmeg.
The combination of perimeter entries, 4d and the examples provided by the corrected misprints encapsulated the theme very neatly. There were some nicely concealed misprints as well as some very obvious ones but on the whole I wasn't quite as keen as some on the clues. I'm very surprised to see a clue such as 11 in the Listener, which fails for me because it doesn't say what it means. Misleading punctuation is one thing, but punctuation that makes it impossible to read the cryptic element as intended breaches a fundamental principle enunciated by Ximenes. I also didn't like the clue at 33, which leads to more than one valid answer, a little unfair since it's a short entry with 50% unchecked.
For those seeking a greater challenge the Inquisitor this week is a Carte Blanche.
I've had family staying for a week so was relieved that this puzzle was of the easy-but-fun variety. I never knew that there were so many words connected with the theme!

I thought that the misprints were beautifully disguised and had a few chuckles along the way. Scorpius is of course quite right about 11, but I'd solved the clue before I noticed the issue so it didn't bother me much.

Thanks Nutmeg.
