Thank you folks,
I must have 22d wrong, Small worrisome problems; petty
criticisms (6) I put niggle
Question Author
Could that be Niggly ?
Does 22d now need to end in 'y'?

Odd, as it reads as a plural.
Are you sure the clue is plural Clare? Presumably with Kelly being correct, your 22 would now end in a 'Y'? Do you have any other letters placed?
Must be Clare.
Crossed two posts there. :))
Question Author
Thank you folks, the N comes from 21a Located or situated one every
side (6) around, G comes from A female child (4) girl and the Y
coming from Kelly.
Hope this helps
Niggly must be it then.
Question Author

LIK gave the link, it's those Americans ;-)
Have you had a look at Lie in King's link Clare - it explains it there.
Kelly Green
Vivid yellowish green
Kelly green is an American term. The name derives from the fact that the surname Kelly, as well as the color green, are both popular in Ireland. The use of the term as a color name occurred at least as far back as 1917.
Question Author
Ah thank you for pointing out LIK's link, and
