11 D. Press is crowd, it has Sang (a Chinese organ) inside. The first G is one of the 10 mentioned in the preamble. Pressgangs, pushes into service.

42 Also involves the 10 (I think!).
6d 'take' = R(ecipe) inside 'SEE ('Take in') [reversed] + O(ver)
15a REALA is the feminine of 'realo' (a male member of the German Green party) with L(ake) inside and E (=250, numeral) on the end.
I think 42a is 'briefly seek' = CHAS(e) + SID(e) = 'division' + I(n) + M(ass) but if 'briefly' is doing double-duty it's a bad clue (I think ID - 'division of intellect' might be involved) either way, an 's' is left out of wordplay.
sorry - 6 is E[a]VES for 'projections' reversed with R ('take') inside - sorry, I should have checked - my memory is very poor!
...and it's not 'reversed', of course, sorry again!
...3rd time, sorry - it is REAL(o) for the German 'green' - the 'o' is extra and 'A(ccepted)' gives the A.

Many thanks ProfessorMaisie and Neveracrossword
I've said it before but it happens every time. These threads never appear to me until a day later. I searched on Saturday evening and nothing. And on Sunday, it appears. Why am I 24 hours behind? (I live in England.)
