Many thanks to you all - I can use some of the new placed letters to get me on my way again!
63 MICHAELANGELO - I+CH inside MELANGE = 'medley' + touLOuse
sorry, typo - ignore the 'a' MICHELANGELO
Isn't it Michelangelo?
39d looks to be DIS (''policeman's'') + OBE ('award') + D(IE)NT [ie='that is' (inside) DoNuT 'oddly'] but there's no definition for DISOBEDIENT?

Thanks again to Professor Maisie and cashier. Don't think I would have got Michelangelo but I was nearly on the right track with No.39! I knew I needed ie and obe but I was trying to use too many "odd" letters. The answer looks right so will use that to renew my efforts to finish! Thanks again to all you helpful ABers!
maybe poster or setter missed a word off the end of the clue, something like disruptive or rebellious
