This is always so easy but wonder if there is a mistake. "Frail, weak" (6) T - - M - Y. I am sure the letters are right. Any ideas or has anybody else done it?

It seems the clues were around the wrong way?
My head is spinning... :-)
I wondered if the clues had been transposed too Patsy but it's still not easy to unravel.

As usual you are right mamyalynne. They have really messed up! Thumby means bungling, awkward but they have attributed that word to a 5 letter clue. The 6 letter clue which thumby would fit is frail, weak. I will let Waitrose know - I might get a free chocolate bar!
Ask for a whole box!

Good idea mamyalynne then I can share the box with you all !!
I've gone with "trimly"... My logic? If you are very trim you could be weak and frail... I had to go with it in order to finish the crossword and move on to the sudoku and get on with my Sunday!!
Trimly
I am enraged and espy a mistake. The Waitrose Weekender is inept, get the crossword higher on the agenda. We have been doing this crossword for 10 whole weeks and never sobbed before. Could be an early April fools, this vessel is afloat without anchorage, we are reaching for cyanide. Thanks to MelanieBB for trimly, pushed us into a new gear, put the sheen back on our crossword.
Oh dear, take heart :-)

I still think that Waitrose have boobed and transposed the 2 clues! We will see if they mention it in next week's edition. However your comments pele123 are very droll - clearly you have also got the Waitrose Weekend!
Question Author
There is an apology in this week's Waitrose Weekend for the error(s) in last week's edition as anticipated. The answers were "trimly" and "inept". Sadly Mamyalynne there is no mention of our box of chocolates for pointing this out!
