22a M - M It's quite a short distance round bend.
Assume it's MUM mm=millimetre u = bend but can't link it to clue. Perhaps quiet for quite in clue would have been better. also

I took it that "quite" was a misprint for "quiet" = MUM

Thanks alanogden. Yes that crossed my mind also. Some clues are difficult enough without having the problems of printing errors!
