What is AG? Arnos Grove? I've completed grid, and worked out instruction. I've highlighted (highlit???) three words- two on line three and one on line four. Also shaded six sets of initials relevant to OC. Where is seventh? Solution might be staring me in the face but I just cannot see it.

You have the right words - what is the colour of the line on the map ? I also have seven sets of initials, but it includes the OC on the same line.

There is no AG among the sets of initials in my grid, and the seven I have are arranged tidily and are consecutive along the line. How are your initials arranged? Maybe you have a letter wrong somewhere?

RossR -- there are three words in the top part of the grid of which A and G form a part. Then, as you say there are seven sets of initials regularly spaced in the lower half.

Thanks Folks, I guess I was reading too much into it. Still can't understand why AG was preshaded though.
