So far as I recall, the Daily Mail offer price is for FIVE bulbs, of the old style, not the new-fangled less-light rubbish that do not also work with dimmer switches. I would also be interested to learn, Tallulah, which Tesco branch you use and whether they have stock of old-style 100 watt light bulbs on sale !
My branch of Tesco's have stopped selling the old style light bulbs, I have enquired. They are also not available on line. Thought the Daily Mail Offer was a good one.
Sorry barbieri, I wrongly assumed you meant the eco bulbs which we've been using for over 10 years since I won one in a Southern Electric competition They don't seem to 'blow' and I try to keep out of the bright lights these days!
I thought the old fashioned bulbs were illegal now and Tesco did have the new ones 3 for around 48p.
I don't take the Daily Mail.
keyboardix, I use the Tesco nearest my home which is a 3 mile walk! If the new lights are dim you don't need a dimmer switch!
Mancunian, go for it. I wish I hadn't replied.
