Jackdaw, Now that was news for sure, good one!!
I have to go with Capercaillie rather than Skylark (which is an excellent Idea too) for 7, Caper and caillie, very good.

Fast moving Liquid is all that's left now, All I can come up with is Shearwater, but cannot make the connection between Shear and speed, so I am dubious as to its likelyhood.
Could 14 be Roller (various kinds of birds and a long heavy sea wave)?  Sorry I wasn't around to explain wheatear � busy taking down decorations

Or then again,  petrel.  (petrol) or stormy petrel?  I'm not convinced by either but felt I should suggest them.
