My Answerbank connection is erratic. I posted "Bartimeus" earlier--pen name of a naval capt. who wrote books about ships etc. Bartimeus was blind.

Is "Arnold Bennett" rhyming slang for something too? TEA LEAF does work. I don't know why, though--I can't connect Bennett to tea leaf or thief otherwise.
