Hi
Is anyone else stuck?
I've got all the normal clues and 'think' I've got the ingredients (if my ingredients are correct I wouldn't like to eat the result)
But I've NO idea what the 'dishes' are (has anyone else got various words like nurses & thrones?)
Any hints would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

So you should have DE?M and M?RD?R. Both of them are thematically related to the last word of the two dishes. One talks, and the other one won the Grand National three times in the 70s

I too struggled with this one. There were too many obscure words and definitions, though the two worded nag in the bottom middle made me groan. I am still missing one of the lower ingredients -- there are no others mentioned in any recipe that I know, but I have ?E?ONS. I also have a discrepancy with the extra letters, because there are two Rs (in nurses and above named nag), there are two Us and I have a G for the three-lettered reversed entry., which forms part of the highlighting.
Hi ulysses100, I thought that ?E?O?S was one of a pair with DRUDGES (after all, the dish is a plural), in the same way as NURSES and THRONES are a pair. As far as the letters are concerned, I think the unchecked letters in the missing words defined by extra words in clues don't count towards ONE SORTED YUM . Technically I suppose they are not unclued entries, as they are defined. So the two worder was defined by Skin in 18ac, and the one beginning with G by Started in 33dn. All a bit messy, though.
