A fit of the screaming thingies - if that goes in 6dn then the Siberian lake goes in 16ac but then 8dn doesn't fit with any of the answers in its cluster. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks Doc H H. Misprint finally dawned on me. My problem was that the last three letters of the answer are also the root of many words. Will now look again at the quote.
No sign of the fruit cropping ceasing any time soon. Three of the four trees are still hurling their goodies earthwards. I am also still frantically trying to remove as much of the horsetail as possible before winter sets in and the ground becomes unworkable.

Well have finally found the quote, actually given as the second half of a quote in ODQ6, so missed it first time round, even though I was looking in the right spot. Enjoyed this one apart from the struggle at the end. Now feeling I must have been completely blind not to spot it earlier
