stuck on this last one.....15d too particular about italian city, not very English (8)..... I've got - v - r - i - e.........if the answer to this clue is overnice, venice is in the word (Italian city) but what connection dothe remaining letters o,r have to 'too particular' in the clue?
Can anyone explain?

about = OVER
italian city not very english = (ve)NICE
and overnice = too particular
