MM Links Results August 2011 Week 3

It turned out to be a fairly easy weekend with most of the action occurring in the first few minutes

The very first player, Tearinghair, hit the MARK for 2 points and Cliffyg was within the allowed timespan for 2 points as well.

Just a minute later, ManxieMo thought it her DUTY to stick with FAMILY ties for a total of 4 points.
OwlLady picked up 2 as well for DEATH DUTY as she was within 2 minutes.
Likewise, Strix and Aquagility picked up their two points for FAMILY HISTORY.

The clock was still on 9:03 when Deecee131 found the remaining link of MARRIAGE LINES to be quickly followed by Patchett (2 points each). Patchett, also picked up a single for BIRTH MARK making a total of 3 points for her.

Notable mention should also go to another 'double-hitter' - Kawakiri

Five later players picked up single points.

The August Leader has only been playing for two months and is proving to be a worthy adversary so I have great pleasure in removing her fom competing during September by crowning ManxyMo 'QUEEN OF MEN' (Well, 'MAN' anyway).

Well, I've just got up off the floor after hearing the results! Can't really believe it yet, must be a fluke. My immediate reaction was to leg it (having three legs makes this easy, of course) as far away from the MM links as possible, but I couldn't possibly leave everyone in the lurch, could I. Or could I?
Anyway, thanks for all the encouragement and, in advance, to Gen2, for help in the weeks to come. Watch this space!
