Already they've come, I'm meaning Charity Xmas Cards. I've got 3 lots now, I do buy charity Xmas cards but not from these charities.
Do I send them back? Do I keep them saying "I didn't ask for them"
I can't afford to contribute to every charity.
What would you do? or what do you do?

I'm with doc here Jem. If you have not requested these cards then accept them as a gift, send them and under no circumstances feel guilty about it.

If they (charities) stopped sending out this kind of unsolicited trash then they'd save themselves some money.

Lest We Forget.

These people sent 6 cards, pocket card calendar,6 tags, the price for these is £6.95 (I think this is extortionate) almost daylight robbery.& the charity should be ashamed of itself.

I work on the theory that if I didn't ask for them so if they send them they must be a present, use them and save yourself a couple off bob and don't worry about it
I feel the same as you jem, I wouldn't use the cards but I feel guilty for not sending the money to pay for them. I wish they wouldn't do it.
sent the ones i usually do buy back, as they are a lot more costly than last year.
That's the whole point; they prey on people's guilty concience compelling them to send the money. It's a cheek to send unsolicited goods and then to tell the recipient that they must pay a stated sum for them! If they must send them out then they should request that if the recipient likes the goods and would care to support the charity then would they please donate a sum of their choosing. Personally, I would prefer not to receive these cards. I give to my own choice of charity, anonimously.
The charity ones i get have gone up to 13 quid for 8 cards, small calender and tags, and as money is tight had to return them.
I rec'd some today, sent the lot back to the 'Unsolicited mail dept' at the address given without a stamp. with luck I won't be on the list next year.
I'm with Baldric on this. If they get enough back, unstamped, perhaps they will stop sending them out.
I write on the envelope ' return to sender, not requested' and pop them in the post box!..
Send back each one, in another one's envelope... always keep freepost envelopes :)
