Good morning, Lie-in King, I need your help!

I do the various crosswords in the ex-pat Telegraph and for the first time I'm stuck on the Quick Crossword! 1 across is 'Object' *P** and 3 down is 'Lower in pitch' **e**r. Probably deeper, but that makes 1 across *p*d - help!

Dear Longefoy - I have looked through all this week's Telegraph quick crosswords, and can't find the one you are asking about ? What date is it?
