Mad over Fifties Club

The Club is now Open.

Welcome once again to our weekly get-together for fun frolics and felicity.

The weather is being much kinder to us this week, so all members are reminded to wear sunscreen at all times.

The heating is off and it is time for the annual boiler-scrape and polish. Any volunteers are asked to sign up as a lack of volunteers will lead to conscription.

This week's raffle prizes include

a flue brush (handy for the boiler-scrape)
six black plastic rubbish bags (ditto)
a small set of step ladders, hardly wonky at all (ditto again)
half a tin of Zebo (ditto again again)

As the weather is glorious the buffet table is bedecked with a Mediterranean feast of cold cured meats and assorted salads etc., a large punch bowl of a delicious and fruity mixed rum punch. Tonight's Tailcock is the Scorchio - does not get many outings but is a bright and cheery little number.

For the Rofl:

12 coat hangers
power lead for a hedge trimmer
an empty calor gas bottle
monkey wrench.

Spider plant that might just make it through the weekend

A scorchio is Mamya's special cocktail, only available here and now.

M'lady - it was blending, said "BANG!" and caught fire - I immersed it in a sink of water where it continued to smoke happily for several minutes. The jug's ok...

Good evening to you all, a flagon of scorchio would be bliss while I unload these waffle prizes.
I have to donate, a size 12 knitting needle, ( I may well find the other one later ) some jellied eels and a boomerang.
My shawl may need to be hidden from the llama . It takes an unhealthy liking to my outer wear.

Good evening to all here assembled. I've parked the llama in the stables as usual Milady, I trust this will be acceptable?
I should love one of your Scorchio cocktails Mama, I've brought my usual bucket to accomodate it. I shall pull up a lounger out in the courtyard and quietly bask in the evening sunshine.
In my reticule I have some blue marigolds and a tin of Brasso as an offering for tonight's raffle
