The Club is now Open.

Welcome once again to our weekly get-together for fun frolics and felicity.

The weather is being much kinder to us this week, so all members are reminded to wear sunscreen at all times.

The heating is off and it is time for the annual boiler-scrape and polish. Any volunteers are asked to sign up as a lack of volunteers will lead to conscription.

This week's raffle prizes include

a flue brush (handy for the boiler-scrape)
six black plastic rubbish bags (ditto)
a small set of step ladders, hardly wonky at all (ditto again)
half a tin of Zebo (ditto again again)

Oh I am now the proud owner of a tin of Brasso. What on earth does one do with it ? Is it a stir in pasta sauce type thing? Or is it what is used to turn one's hair that awful orangey colour that the females who frequent the Jeremy Kyle show have?
Meanwhile my shawl was getting slightly over friendly with a rather lovely lightweight cloak. I shall don my shawl and away,

Lovely! This tailcock is definitely a success. Was hoping to meet excel. Did someone frighten him? Surely nobody mentioned the croc. Some people are allergic.
