The clue to 109 across is Veteran BBC journalist (8) the answer is Kate Adie (4,4), I wonder if it is worthwhile completing crossword or will it be yet another daily record crossword that will void (as has happened a few times with the big one on a Tuesday.

The answer for beetroot soup is spelt wrongly as well,so it may be void!

Hi june06 I've just noticed the error with 109a - another of their crosswords was declared void for a similar mistake. Mine's in the bin. I wonder who compiles the crosswords for the DR - the number of mistakes is unbelievable.

Yes I realise that atsgran but I answered Kate Adie and posted it just putting it down to a misprint saying 8 letters so it's a pity jmr27 put it in the bin!

Think it was just that when they have any kind of mistakes, they make the crossword void and have 2 winners the next week

Hi folks the last time the compiler got the letter count wrong the crossword was voided. Mine's staying in the bin grrrrr

marketing dept will not be opened until Monday only then will we find out if the crossword will be void or not.

anytime you have any doubt regarding this crossword and don't want to waste a stamp,just do what I do, just pick up the phone and call 0141 309 3000 ask for marketing, only available to speak to Mon to Fri.
