The clue could be a quote, saying, phrase or title that includes a woman's name. Only the initial letters are given.

In this instance the woman's name is the last letter, 'R'.

The reason I didn't think HTD was Herald the Dawn was that when there is a "the" in the clue it is usually indicated as such.
