Who Am I ?

Can anyone help identify any of the following photographs at the following site, http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/leisure/superbrain/ The link is accurate but may not be clickable. There are six different sections for six different subjects with 60 photographs. I need help with 15 so any help would be greatly appreciated. There are no written clues it is simply a matter of being able to recognise the people.
TV & FILM : NOS. 5, 8, AND 10.

LITERATURE : NOS. 6, 9, AND 10.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE : NOS. 2, 5, 8, AND 9.

NORTH EAST : NO. 4.

SPORT : NOS. 6, 7, 9, AND 10.

6) Is Charlie Magri (Champion flyweight boxer of a few years ago)
9) is Cyril Knowles (Played for Tottenham Hotspur in the late 1960's)

Thanks for your help I did think Cyril Knowles was a possibility I just couldn't find a photo in images as close as I would like, so to have someone else's opinion helps. The Charlie Magri shout is brilliant it does look like him.
