The hallowed portals of Nungate Towers are yet again thrown wide open in welcome all the Mad over fifties out there in AB land.
Come and frivol in the Great Hall, the Tapster has concocted possibly his best ever tailcock the "Cats Whiskers" (where he found the whiskers we don't know) but he claims it is a tasty brew which packs a real kick! For those among us who abstain the demon alcohol, he has been hard at work brewing you a delightfully decadent alcohol free drink the "cats paw!" guaranteed to refresh and deliciously quaffable. The hot plate special for this evening is a warming beef casserole with dumplings, and on the pudding trolley there is a creamy rice pudding (with jam if desired) plus a variety of ice creams (Scoff the chef has been busy this week!) The Minstrels have finally managed to return from the Minstrels convention on Muckleflugga (a bit of a per adventure by all accounts) and they will again deight us with their selection of Madrigals and fugues, later on they have promised to play us their own versions of the Greatest hits of Freddie and the Dreamers! (I can't wait) We have dancing in the great hall, food in the dining room, the hot tub in the North Tower is all fired up and ready, the bungee in the South Tower is primed and awaiting it's first .... vic.. volunteer of the evening.
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these doors

Glad to have been of assistance Tony, we gotta keep the language going - I don't think there's much political will to keep the Scots tongue going - it's all fine if you speak gaelic - but nothing for Lallans or the Doric among others......
