I have been asked to write a simple quiz of about 20 questions for a one-off afternoon club for pensioners. Please help, with a suggestion of an easy topic first, and then all join in with suggestions for a question with the answer. I will welcome everybody's help, and look forward to your suggestions. It is not going to be a quiz you can all send for. It will be an on the day only quiz. Just for fun and just for the pensioners.

Back 50 years ago a lot of people listed to the radio for entertainment shows on the BBC Light Programme, and here is a list of such programmes http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBC_Light_Programme - most on that list can be clicked for more details and so you could get a few questions for some of them e.g. in The Clitheroe Kid who was Jimmy's sister's boyfriend, what was the name of the ship in The Navy Lark...
