going to see Meatloaf at Newbury racecourse on Saturday, has anyone been to one of these type of concerts, do you have to dress up (ladies day), does the lady have to wear a hat. According to the web thing the last race is 16.55 and the concert starts at 17.15, any help or advice would be appreciated.

I have been to 5 meatloaf concerts and the dress has been casual, not sure about the racecourse bit, there is normally a dress code for the racecourse
Question Author
the tickets include the races and the concert. It might be a long day for me.
I went to see Madness at York Racecourse, in 2010, baza. I went in a black and white t-shirt and matching pair of shorts. My mate and I were in the family enclosure.

Info here, on how to dress...

Question Author
pixie, rock and horses just reminded me of a dog my sister had that took a shine to a kiddies rocking horse
Oooh. Sounds like my dog- anything that moves! Or doesn't.
Question Author
as the only two things I know about horses are they have four legs and they turn up in supermarket burgers, anyone got any tips for tomorrow at Newbury?
Question Author
so, no one has any tips then, I am willing to share any winnings.
Question Author
still no tips for the races then.
No, I don't know anything about racing, only Meatloaf :-(
Johnny Murtagh is over riding and I would follow him and Pat Smullen
And I'd give the last race a miss, although I might be tempted to have a punt on Egerton's horse ridden by Hayley Moore.
Watch out for Stokemaverick's tips in the morning and good luck
Question Author

Stoke's giving you proper tips in a few minutes xx
