Firstly owing to technical issues both Nungate and Igor will not be in attendance I think Frank has something to do with it .
So...the show must go on. This evenings Tailcock is the Mighty Woff-le a nice subtle brew with a dribble of cream and a splash of Maple Syrup. A buffet has been provided and the usual canopies and volley vents are available. On the pudding trolley we have various Cheesecakes with many jugs of cream (the cows have been working hard). We have a new band this evening The Turnside Twitchers who will be playing some of their own material but I believe they will be doing requests - just drop your request in the hat.
On the entertainment front the race track has been opened and in the games room we have brought out the Air Hockey and various board games.
Hot tub is bubbling away and the mini bar has been fully replenished
For the Rofl I have to offer
1 pair of slipper pumps (both torn)
1 primark carrier bag (small)
one speedway ticket for GP used
one dodgy dvd remote (may need batteries)
Igor has said to let you all know Frank has been sent to college to learn how to be a minion. Carriages at midnight.
Good evening to all and sundaery. How are tings tonight? Who is Frank by the way?
Ripple proizes.
1 square wheel hub
1 Longbow from the Mary Rows
1 Hurts car logo
1 piece of Cotswold limestone
1 chuck of the Bass Rock covered in tern crap
1 bent golf flagstick
1 bent putter
1 cubical golf ball
1 welcome to Devon sign (redundant as it isn't true)
1 part of the Tamar bridge, marked 'key component'
1 dead seagull.
Evening all!
Sorry 'Er Ladyship's not about. Much love and commiserations as I would go into hyperdrive if anything went wrong with Paddy the iPad.
I shall pretend I've won Daisy's drinking straws and put them in the barrel of Mighty Woff-le as I have great need.
Speaking of Woffles . . . 'Ang on, the bottom's dropped out of me Asda bag . . .
That's the trouble with reusing bags, they go all weak.
Ok, I have picked up, err, brought with me
A can of mixed bean salad (use by 9/2009)
3 vegetable Oxo cubes
Seveareal vintage jars of cooking spices as featured on Antiques Roadshow
A bag of white rice of indeterminate age
A frying pan wot 'as seen better days
And a tin opener with provenance that it was once used by Noah of Ark fame
Well, DT, I have to agree with you about Asda as I now spend my pennies with Lord Sainsbury and he delivers to my door so's I don't even have to go out and fight with the other inhabitants of my town.
Hi mammar. I recognise quite a few things! Was so bored the day before yesterday that I decided to clear out the kitchen cupboards. Tiny kitchen so cupboards crammed.
Could Plant please give me a refill whist I check on Malkin, Eric and Saucer?
They are in the Snug, recovering from being dive bombed by seagulls as we left home.
I'm just going to make myself a volley vont sandwich.
Closely followed by a lump...I mean moderate slice....of cheesecake. yum!
Then I might go check out the Twitchers just to see if they do
Phew, back now, had to dash out on an emergency ( well it was to my aunt anyway ). She phoned me to say that she as only got 4p on her pay as you go mobile phone and she was in a bit of a panic in case she needed it in the night ! ( she also has a land line ) and she wasn't sure how to top it up although she does it on a regular basis !, so had to get the car out of the garage and go around to her house and sort it out.
