That's a good book you have. It's not in my Hamlyn or Collins Bradford, don't see it on internet either. Think I'll stick with with popinjay as it's a "sounds like" and will post answer when it comes back. Many thanks.

Morning, Quinie, I agree, perfect sense. Thought popinjay was a possibility with the "in" sounding like "and", but dotterel fits nicely. Many thanks for all your input though, much appreciated.
